About Ingrained
Ingrained Bookkeeping was born from a passion for numbers and community. The resident of a small town and a farmer's daughter, Karen's wish is to see success for small businesses in her community and around the country. Offering small business owners bookkeeping services to free up their time to focus on their passion, and the reason they got in business in the first place.

About the Bookkeeper

Karen Macomb

In 2007 Karen had received an offer of employment at a small coastal hotel to be their Bookkeeper. She had found her passion, as numbers brought her peace and order. Her next position was the Resident Financial Services Manager for a local non-profit, balancing books (this time personal for those we supported), assisting in budgets, and helping with personal goal setting. Recently, she worked as a state employee auditing applications for Medicaid and reviewing financial documents. While this was similar to what she did before, it didn't bring her joy, so she decided it was time to get back to Bookkeeping.

When she is not working on your books, you can find her with her husband running their small hobby farm (5 acres) with goats, gardens, and an orchard or in the fields at her parents’ farm (160 acres) doing hay, chasing cattle, or bringing in firewood. Working hard is INGRAINED in her by her family. A value that she desires to bring, along with her experience in bookkeeping, budgeting, finance, and customer service to your business.
